Land pollution
It is the destruction of the land due to the misuse of land . the human activities such as applying the pesticides to the soil for a good crop, dumping the wastes, which causes soil errosion .
INDUSTRIAL CAUSE: Many industries dump the wastes like plastic and further chemicals in to soil and also due to the mining industries , the deadly chemical substances releases to the soil which gradually leads to soil erosion. which makes the land barren , which is unfit for agriculture.
The leaking of sewage ,drainage systems and underground septic tanks Is also a cause.
Due to the direct release of industrial chemical waste in water, the rains and floods brings the pollutants to the soil which deeply effects the soil.
over farming also causes the the soil to lose the nutrients in the soil which gradually becomes unfit for farming.
EFFECTS OF SOIL POLLUTION: The toxic substances comes in direct contact with humans through fruits and vegetables , which causes various health problems humans and in animals too. DEFORESTATION and soil erosion are also one of the biggest problems.
